To celebrate the opening of the 2025 season, Schallaburg Castle invites you to an unforgettable evening on 11 April 2025, combining art, culinary delights and music in one of the most beautiful historical settings in Lower Austria. Where culture awakens, Schallaburg Castle opens its doors for an exclusive event that touches all the senses.
An evening for the senses - in the unique atmosphere of Schallaburg Castle
The evening begins with a festive reception in the large arcaded courtyard, a place where history and elegance come together. Amidst artfully decorated round arches and imposing façades, you will immerse yourself in a culinary dream journey. ‘Schallaburg - The Restaurant’, supported by the St. Pölten College of Tourism, will spoil you with exquisite specialities inspired by regional tradition and modern indulgence.
After this culinary introduction, you will be one of the few guests to receive an exclusive preview of the new exhibition ‘TRÄUME...träumen’. Experience the magic of dreams in a unique artistic concept that allows you to immerse yourself in hidden fantasy worlds - long before the exhibition is open to the general public.

The crowning finale is an intimate unplugged concert by Ina Regen in the atmospherically lit Arkadenhof.
